This paper analyses the relationship between religion and the city from a geographical perspective through the study of «place keeping, making and seeking» strategies implemented by the Mormon Church and the Sikh community in the city of Rome. The goal is to investigate the places of worship of these two religious minorities in terms of openings/closings, visibility/invisibility in urban spaces and in relation to the social fabric.
